IOWA VS. BUFFALO: PREVIEW AND OPEN THREAD

Hawkeye wrestlers look for their 13th consecutive dual win at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Tony Hager

The Hawkeyes are back at Carver Thursday at 7PM. After a rough outing at Edinboro last week it is good to get the boys back home. Cory Clark (3-0), Tony Ramos (27-0), Josh Dziewa (4-0), Derek St. John (26-0) and Mike Evans (19-0). They are a combined 79-0 inside Carver. Iowa is 23-0 in December duals under head coach Tom Brands.

Now this should be no test for the Iowa Hawkeyes, but didn't we say that against Edinboro? Of course, Edinboro had four ranked wrestlers and some other solid guys; Buffalo has none of that. This really should be a rout, especially at Carver. I feel comfortable saying that the Hawkeyes should win every match Thursday. We are not going to break down each match for this dual; Iowa should win decisively. If you would like to see some of the Buffalo wrestlers in action check them out on FLO.

The Over/Under for this dual is 56
