— Hawkeye Football (@HawkeyeFootball) February 3, 2016
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 235
247 Sports Composite Rating: 3-star, 869th nationally, 42nd ranked DE
Other Offers: Cincinnati, Western Michigan
Caring is Creepy: Have a Seat, Chauncey Golston
COMPARISON: Kenny Iwebema came to Iowa as a 6'4" 235 pound three-star defensive end recruit in 2003. Iwebema took a red-shirt season, saw some limited action in 2004 and then burst onto the scene in 2005 earning 1st team all-Big Ten honors by the media. Iwebema eventually earned some All-American mention from various outlets and would get a shot with the Arizona Cardinals after his Iowa career. Iowa might start two sophomores at defensive end in 2016, so Golston will have to work to get on the field for two years, but he has the frame and background to compare to Iwebema.
