COMPARISON: Billings did everything for his high school team. He was a threat at wide receiver but lacks explosive speed for that position. He projects as a safety at the next level and may remind Iowa fans of Maurice Fleming. While not a high school quarterback like Fleming, Billings shows closing skills that could pay off as a ball-hawking defender. Fleming will begin his senior season as second-team corner behind one of Iowa's all-time greats. Billings, like Fleming, might be a strong nickel DB option in a couple of years.
