Iowa lands a last-second commitment from a St. Louis halfback.

This marks the third recruit committed to another program to sign with Iowa this week, which has to be some kind of record for Kirk Ferentz.

Parker received three stars from 24/7, and two stars from Rivals and Scout. He was not rated by ESPN. Parker ran for 1,094 yards and 18 scores last season, and compiled 2,677 yards and 36 touchdowns in three high school seasons. He also played defensive back and returned kicks for CBC, and could fit into a special teams or defensive role. His other offers came from four MAC programs, though Mizzou had reportedly shown some interest.
