The time has finally come, Hawkeye fans! For the second time in three seasons, your Iowa Hawkeyes are poised to square off with the Michigan Wolverines in the Big Ten Championship Game.

While Iowa enters the day at 10-2 and with the better defense on a yards per play allowed basis, the Hawkeyes are seemingly expected to roll over and play dead. The Wolverines come into the game undefeated and without a loss in two seasons outside the College Football Playoff. They’ve topped 30 points scored in every game this season and have the nation’s top defense in points allowed per game.

Given the dominance by the Wolverines this season, perhaps it’s no surprise they’re favored in this one by more than three scores. The question now is whether the Hawkeyes can take some Kinnick magic on the road to Indianapolis to pull out the miracle with the world seemingly rooting against them.

Can the Hawkeyes muster enough offense against the nation’s top scoring defense to hang around? Will the Iowa defense be able to stay fresh and hold up against an offense that is battle tested and comes in averaging nearly 38 points per game?

We’re about to find out as the Hawkeyes and Wolverines face off for the Big Ten Championship!
