Jestin Jacobs Has Officially Arrived

With a football program like Iowa, as fans, analysts or whatever label you choose to take on, the concept of player development being paramount to the program’s success is widely accepted and embraced. That said, every once in a while a player comes along who immediately shows on the field that they just have “it.” Guys like A.J. Epenesa, Tristan Wirfs, Adrian Clayborn, Brandon Scherff, etc. to paint a more vivid image.

It’s those sorts of guys who are capable of elevating a team passed prior expectations for a given season and on Saturday, September 11th, 2021, the Iowa Hawkeyes have found that guy in the form of redshirt sophomore linebacker, Jestin Jacobs.
