The most notable of the start times from a quick glance is the Iowa/Iowa state matchup, scheduled for September 11th, getting a 2:30 prime afternoon kickoff on ABC, the network that Disney/ESPN usually reserves for marquee games. Considering both teams will likely enter the matchup ranked, I’d say that makes a lot of sense.
Iowa’s away game at Maryland, recently bumped to Friday night, will kick off at 7 p.m. CST and air on FS1. Home games against Indiana Kent State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST on BTN, while the 2:30 kickoff against Purdue does not currently have a TV network.
No start time has been set for Iowa hosting Penn State, and given that the network has been determined to either be Fox or FS1, I’d say there’s a high likelihood of that being the night game at Kinnick, especially since it also coincidentally happens to be the Black and Gold spirit game...
This schedule drop rounds out with away games at Wisconsin and Nebraska kicking off at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively.
