Recap:
Our Hawks had a very good opening session. We took 11 of 13 matches with 7 bonus point wins. 4 pins, 1 tech fall, and two major decisions.
All 10 are alive and kicking with 8 in the semifinals, coincidentally, those 8 have also punched their tickets to the NCAA’s.
Max Murin and Nelson Brands are the lone two wrestlers in the cons. Both have to tonight to stay alive. Should Max fall, he probably has enough of a resume to get an at-large berth, but Brands is another story all together. He more than likely has to win his next two matches to make it to March Matness.
The semifinal rounds are going to be absolutely absurd.
