A little more than two weeks ago, we took a first look at the Michigan State Spartans as Iowa was coming off a pair of wins against Maryland and Minnesota while the Spartans were struggling. Fast forward two weeks and Michigan State is now coming off a pause and struggling perhaps worse than before that pause.
For their part, the Iowa Hawkeyes are also now on the wrong end of a two-game losing streak after dropping a head scratcher at home to Indiana two weeks ago and a nail-biter at Illinois last week. Now they’re preparing for stretch of three games between Tuesday and Sunday of this week and five games over the next 11 days.
Here’s your first look at Iowa’s matchup with Michigan State. Again.

Adjusted tempo is defined as total possessions divided by minutes, adjusted for schedule considering the preferred pace of each team.
