Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Iowa Hawkeyes fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
The Iowa Hawkeyes entered a week four showdown with previously unbeaten Maryland with a number of questions surrounding the Iowa offense and whether or not Iowa was perhaps overrated. We asked you about those issues heading into the game last week and while fans were certainly skeptical, the questions got some pretty resounding answers on Friday night as the Hawkeyes pummeled the Terps 51-14.
Now Iowa faces a new test as they are set to play host to the #4 Penn State Nittany Lions in the first matchup of top-5 teams in Kinnick Stadium since 1985. With such an historic matchup on the docket, we’re back to ask Hawkeye fans how they’re feeling heading into this one, as well as how the rest of the season may play out for a team that now finds itself not only in the top-5, but in the top-3 nationally and in the driver’s seat for the Big Ten West.
Here are this week’s SB Nation Reacts questions specific to the Iowa Hawkeyes.

As a reminder, we’ll circle back with the results of the poll later in the week. If you sign up for SB Nation Reacts, you’ll also receive weekly emails with a short survey on the broader college football landscape. With Iowa now in the national spotlight, that means national poll attention for the Hawkeyes as well. Those results will be recapped with the results of the Iowa-specific poll.
