It’s game time in Madison. The Iowa Hawkeyes and Wisconsin Badgers are set to kick off from Camp Randall for control of the Big Ten West. Iowa enters with the #9 ranking in the land and a one game lead over the Badgers in the divisional standings. The Badgers are seeking to even the standings and take the tie breaker over Iowa as they hope to get their season back on track.
These two elite defenses are licking their chops at a pair of middling offenses prone to stall outs and turnovers. Can the Hawkeyes find some semblance of a running game? Can the Iowa offensive line give Spencer Petras enough time in the pocket to keep his feet from turning happy? Or will it be the Badgers that establish the run early and often, again keeping Graham Mertz’s pass attempts to single digits?
Those questions and more are about to be answered as the Hawkeyes and Badgers kick off from Madison.
Here’s a quick reminder of the particulars of this one.
