It’s about that time again, Hawkeye fans! Your #5 Iowa Hawkeyes are set to take on the Maryland Terrapins from College Park in a battle of two unbeatens. Iowa has been battle tested with a pair of top-25 wins, including a road win over #9 Iowa State. The Terrapins also come in at 4-0 with wins over West Virginia and on the road at Illinois.
The Terps are led by the Big Ten’s leader in passing yards, completion percentage and touchdown passes (tie). Can the Hawkeye defense continue its streak of holding opponents under 25 total points? Can the Iowa offense truly get things going and win a game for this team? Can Spencer Petras channel some of the goodness we saw on his deep passes in week four without turning the ball over?
Those questions and so many more are about to be answered as the Hawkeyes and Terps look to remain unbeaten as we enter the teeth of the Big Ten schedule.
Here’s a quick recap of the details on tonight’s matchup.
