The Iowa Hawkeyes are officially rolling after picking up their fifth straight win on Sunday in convincing fashion. Iowa stomped Northwestern 96-73 to move into a tie for first place in the Big Ten and up to 3rd nationally in this week’s polls.
Up next for the Hawkeyes is a home matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers. For their part, the Hoosiers haven’t seen the court since last Thursday, when they fell 81-69 to the Purdue Boilermakers. Indiana has lost two of their last three, but that other loss came in overtime at #10 Wisconsin.
Now, the Hoosiers look to boost their NCAA Tournament resume and climb out of the middle of the pack in the Big Ten with a signature win against the Hawkeyes. Iowa, on the other hand, looks to keep pace with Michigan, who won on Tuesday night, and stay tied atop the conference standings.
Here’s your first second look at Iowa’s matchup with Indiana.
