The Hawkeyes chances of playing football this fall may be uncertain. What isn’t uncertain are the seasons of the past and in the realm of Iowa fandom there aren’t too many that get the ‘ol nostalgic juices flowing quite like the Orange Bowl run of 2009.

In today’s video, we take a look back at one of the more memorable games from that run. It’s a game that took place on October 10th, inside Kinnick Stadium on primetime ABC and more specifically, we narrow our focus to a notable performance from that evening; Tony Moeaki’s demolition of the Michigan Defense.

Please, step inside our film room as we not only relive a performance from one of the premiere talents of the Kirk Ferentz, but also share some analysis along the way.

Putting this video together was a lot of fun and I wouldn’t mind making similar style videos in the future or at least until we get some current Iowa football back in our lives. With that said, if you all would like to see more video like this, let me know. I can try my best to make it happen!
