2020 NFL DRAFT - DAY 1: HOW TO WATCH AND OPEN THREAD

Huge ratings potential for tonight’s first round.

NFL: Super Bowl LIV-NFL Experience
This is what the NFL Draft was going to look like in Vegas.
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The 2020 NFL Draft begins tonight. Thirty-two new members of the NFL will be chosen tonight and there is hope that two of those players will be Iowa Hawkeyes Tristan Wirfs and A.J. Epenesa. Each has been mocked in the first round in the majority of drafts with Wirfs seeing some potential as a top-five pick and Epenesa hoping to be chosen in the latter half of the first round.

The draft was to be held in Las Vegas and it would have been a flashy event. With the COVID-19 restrictions around the country, the draft will now be played out in isolation with each participant in their own home. There is a real chance of some interesting looks at both general managers and the players themselves as the picks are read by Commissioner Roger Goodell. Hopefully the tradition of booing Goodell as he walks out to begin the draft will continue from the confines of your own home.

With no live sports happening, many people will watch the draft on a myriad of channels tonight to get their sports fix.
