First 15.

Bill Walsh famously noted that he scripted his first 15 plays on Wednesday night, because on Sunday it was too challenging to think clearly. Ken O'Keefe successfully copied this dictum.

So, 2020. What are the first 15 Brian Ferentz has scripted for the Minnesota game, to be played in summer heat?

KF: What do you have for us.

BF: We're going to sneak it on first down. Should be good for seven yards unless Petras is a pussy. Shooter is not a pussy. I'm confident.

KF: Cute. Second down.

BF: Sneak. First down.

KF: You're going to sneak it first two plays against the Gophers. For a first down. (Leans down, writes note on 3x5 notecard.) You're on record.

BF: Duh, boss.. First down next --

KF: Zone stretch for 2, right?

BF: Southern Cal, Dad. Sneak it for six yards. They think we're going to run the single wing, next.

KF: But ...

BF: Second and four. We sneak it for five and first fucking down, Dad.

KF: In this context, I'm not your Dad. You're on record.

BF: First and ten, mid-field.

BF: Petras - ISM back shoulder to the five. PJ runs onto the field. We're on the two. Goodson stiff-arms somebody into an ambulance, we score. Four plays.

KF: We're the tough guys?

BF: We're the tough guys.
