Note: This is a developing story which will be updated as new information becomes available.
This season’s struggles for Iowa’s Cordell Pemsl continue as the junior forward was arrested early Monday morning for driving with a revoked driver’s license.
This is the second time this year Pemsl has run afoul of the law; he was charged with an OWI back in September, where he plead guilty to the charges resulting in the revocation of his license.

Pemsl was reportedly pulled over on South Riverside Drive on Monday morning for driving with a broken taillight. Pemsl has struggled this year, likely a result of having multiple surgeries on his leg throughout his playing career. He’s seen action this year mostly out of necessity due to other health concerns on Iowa’s roster. Since this is his second altercation with the law this season, I suspect Fran McCaffery will hand out a harsher punishment despite having few other bodies to throw onto the floor.
