We’re officially into December and what would normally be a pretty slow time of year for college football. While Iowa’s regular season would have typically ended on Black Friday, the Hawkeyes, like the rest of the Big Ten and much of college football, still have games left to play.

Today, that means a 2:30 showdown with the Illinois Fighting Illini. You can catch all the details on that matchup (which is on FS1) over in the Game Center.

But as we wait for Iowa to kick off, there are plenty of other solid matchups on the tube today to keep us busy. Here’s our rundown of which games are worth watch today.

Saturday Games

Things get started at 11am CT as usual. There’s a slew of games in the early slot this week, including several featuring at least one ranked team. You’ve got #4 Ohio State at Michigan State on ABC. ESPN has #5 Texas A&M at Auburn. ESPN2 has #15 Oklahoma State at TCU. The Big Ten has another pair of games, including Nebraska at Purdue on BTN and Penn State at Rutgers on FS1. FS2 features Kansas at Texas Tech while FOX has Texas at Kansas State. You’ve also got Arkansas at Missouri on the SEC Network.

There’s a few games kicking off at 1pm CT, but none are terribly exciting. At 1:30pm you’ve got #2 Notre Dame hosting Syracuse on NBC.

The afternoon slate gets started in earnest at 2:30. With is of course where Iowa slots in on FS1. You can supplement that with #6 Florida at Tennessee on CBS. ESPN has #9 Iowa State hosting West Virginia and ESPN2 has #24 Tulsa at Navy. The big one for Iowa fans is #12 Indiana at #16 Wisconsin on ABC. Iowa, of course, will host Wisconsin next week and provided Ohio State can play their final two games and get wins, the winner of that Iowa-Wisconsin game will likely be facing Indiana on Champions Weekend, provided Indiana doesn’t continue to slide without their star QB Michael Penix Jr.

There are a pair of staggered starts at 3pm with Stanford at #22 Washington on FOX and Georgia Tech at NC State on the ACC Network. Then you’ve got the last minute matchup of #13 BYU at #18 Coastal Carolina kicking off at 4:30 on ESPNU.

At 6pm, #23 Orgegon travels to Cal on ESPN. You’ve also got Colorado at Arizona on FS1 and Colorado State at San Diego State on CBS Sports Network.

The evening slate really gets underway at 6:30. You’ve got #3 Clemson at Virginia Tech on ABC and South Carolina at Kentucky on the SEC Network.

Then at 7pm, #1 Alabama is at LSU on CBS. You’ve also got #10 Miami at Duke on the ACC Network and Baylor at #11 Oklahoma on FOX.

In the night cap, there’s Fresno State at Nevada, which is listed as an 8pm kick on FS1. Logistically, not sure how that will work with a 6pm kick on the same channel. Notably, they also list a 9:30 kick featuring UCLA and Arizona State on FS1 so something has to give.

The other two late games feature Wyoming at New Mexico at 9:30 on CBS Sports Network and Oregon State at Utah on ESPN at the same time.
