I’m not a bowler, but tune in next week to see if Caitlin Clark hits a Turkey. For the second week in a row the first year player for the Hawkeyes has been named both freshman player of the week and player of the week. Also, Clark was named the player of the week by ESPN.

Clark had a game-high 35 points in her first game at the Breslin Center, a game the Hawks lost 86-82. This was coming off Iowa’s thrilling comeback win against the Iowa State Cyclones at Carver Hawkeye Arena. Clark is averaging 29.8 points, 6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game.

It will be much easier for us all now that we have written headlines and saved images of Caitlin winning said awards. I am putting in my calendar to re-run this blog every week letting you know that Caitlin Clark has won (insert weekly award names here) for that week’s games. Go Hawks!
