The Iowa Hawkeyes avoided their first potential trap on Friday night when the demolished the Iowa State Cyclones 105-77 after taking down #16 North Carolina earlier in the week. Now, Iowa will look to avoid another potential trap ahead of their showdown with #1 Gonzaga next Saturday.

The Hawkeyes come into today’s matchup unbeaten while their opponent, the Northern Illinois Huskies, have yet to land in the win column. Despite the diverging starts to the season, never say never when it comes to sleeping on an opponent ahead of one of the biggest games in program history.
