College Football Week 13 TV Guide

After some Hawkeye wins, it’s time to enjoy so college football with no expectations.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, whatever that meant for you and your families. The Hawkeyes certainly enjoyed theirs with Iowa hoops pulling a pair of wins on Wednesday and Black Friday while Iowa football took home a sixth straight win over Nebraska thanks to some clapping from the sideline, apparently.

The end result is Iowa fans, stuffed with Thanksgiving food and Hawkeye sports wins, can kick back, relax, and enjoy what’s left of college football on Saturday. Admittedly, thanks to COVID-19, that’s not exactly a full slate. But it’s football nonetheless.

Here’s our rundown of which games are worth watch today.

Saturday Games

The schedule is a bit front-loaded today. Not necessarily in terms of quality, but there are simply a lot of games in the early time slot while the evening slate is pretty light.

The action gets started at 11am CT where you can find Kentucky at #6 Florida on ESPN, Texas Tech at #23 Oklahoma State on FOX and Maryland at #12 Indiana on ESPN2. That one has particular importance as Ohio State’s matchup with Illinois has been cancelled. That doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it leaves OSU at 4-0 with only two more games on the schedule. As we’ve now seen with Wisconsin, finishing with fewer than 6 games will spell no Big Ten Championship game for OSU.

Also in the 11am slot, you’ve got Penn State at Michigan in perhaps the saddest meeting ever between those two programs. That’s on ABC. The ACC Network has NC State at Syracuse while the SEC Network has Vanderbilt at Missouri. There are a handful of other matchups spread across ESPN3 and ESPN+ if you’re looking to fill some time.

There are a pair of staggered starts at noon Central if you’re looking for halftime filler. Those are on ESPN3 with most notable being Miami (OH) at Akron.

You’ve also got some 2pm staggered starts. The only somewhat notable one there is #20 Coastal Carolina at Texas State. That’s on ESPN+.

The 2:30 slate features #22 Auburn at #1 Alabama. That’s on CBS. ABC has Pittsburg at #3 Clemson. Michigan State is hosting #8 Northwestern on ESPN. And there is football on ESPN2 (that’s the nicest thing I can say about it).

At 3pm, you’ve got Mississippi State at Ole Miss on the SEC Network, Louisville at Boston College on the ACC Network and Rutgers at Purdue on FS1 in what could be a sneaky good one. FOX also has San Jose State at Boise State.

If you’ve got the PAC-12 Network, you can catch San Diego State at Colorado at 4pm. Then the evening slate gets rolling at 6pm CT. ESPN has LSU at #5 Texas A&M. ESPN2 has Kansas State at Baylor. Memphis is at Navy on CBS Sports Network and Duke is at Georgia Tech on ESPN3.

At 6:30, there are just a couple games. South Carolina is hosting #9 Georgia on the SEC Network while ABC has Utah at Washington.

At 7pm, you’ve got Arizona at UCLA on FOX. TCU is at Kansas on FS1 and Virginia is at Florida State on the ACC Network.

And sadly, that’s it for today. Hawaii is hosting Nevada in what would be the night cap, but it’s on PPV. Here’s the rundown of today’s full slate and where to find each game.
