College basketball is officially back and the Hawkeyes enter the 2020-2021 season with as much hype as any Iowa team in decades. Luka Garza enters as the preseason favorite to be college basketball’s player of the year. Joe Wieskamp and Jordan Bohannon enter as virtual locks to make All-Big Ten teams and CJ Fredrick may well be the best shooter in the conference. That’s to say nothing of one of the most dynamic point guards Iowa’s had this decade in Joe Toussaint, another 6’11” big man who can step outside and knock them down, one of the highest rated recruits of the McCaffery era or any of the five incoming freshmen.
It’s. Going. To. Be. Fun.
