It’s game day in State College and after a dominant win over Minnesota, confidence among Iowa fans is back in force, ready to cheer on the Hawkeyes.
According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 86 percent of responding Iowa fans said they are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That’s up from 63 percent last week and 22 percent the week before that.

The back-to-back wins resurrected what could have been an ugly season after an 0-2 start.
Things are noticeably less rosy around the country where the coaching carousel has officially opened. South Carolina fired head coach Will Muschamp and according to fans around the country, that will just be the beginning. Roughly two-thirds of fans think at least three Power Five schools will fire their head coach before the end of the season, with 39 percent predicting three coaches getting the axe.

Making things more difficult for those schools that may be looking for a new coach, fans don’t think they will exactly be able to pick-and-choose among the next level of coaches. 53 percent of fans said they would rather coach a dominant Group of Five program than a lower-level Power Five team.
