After months and months of speculation, tonight at 7:00 PM eastern time, Zion Heads everywhere will get to find out if the former Duke Blue Devil will take home the honor of being selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Anthony Davis led New Orleans Pelicans...
Oh wait...never mind.
Despite Zion being the number one overall pick ever since the hype video of him Billy Madison-ing a bunch of skeptical high school kids came out, drama is all but guaranteed tonight. With the Pelicans landing the fourth overall pick from the Los Angeles Lakers in this weekends Anthony Davis trade and Darius Garland jumping up draft boards from Chicago to New York to Boston, things will get interesting.
The NBA doesn’t sleep and the draft is the official start of the league’s funnest season.
