The NFL Draft starts up this weekend, with the first round starting tonight and going through Saturday. The Hawkeyes, as you’re well aware, will likely have two first rounders picked tonight in tight ends TJ Hockenson and Noah Fant. If they both fall within the first 32 picks, it’ll be the first time two tight ends from the same school have ever been picked in the first round.
Amani Hooker and Anthony Nelson will likely get called later in the weekend, and there’s another player or two from the Iowa roster who could be a late-round pickup.
That’d be neat! Almost as neat as winning eight games with two first-round draft picks on the roster the weakest division in the Power-5.
