On today’s episode of SpoCo Radio, I get an early dig from the People’s Champ about sushi being my comfort food before he breaks down his “level of confidence” going into the Wisconsin game Saturday afternoon. Let me be the first to tell you, it all smells a little funny.
After I call him out on being full of sewage, we bring on Tyler Hunt from Bucky’s 5th Quarter to preview the best Big Ten West matchup of the week. What’s the Badgers fanbase’s mental headspace after losing two straight games (including one to Illinois)? We also ask Tyler why Wisconsin is behind other blue blood programs and if Badgers fans are jealous of anything related to the Iowa Hawkeyes. We then make him self scout his own team, explain why the student section is always so late to games and who his favorite Wisconsin Runningback of all time is... plus much, much more.
And of course we get his prediction. Too bad it’s going to be wrong.
After that the boys and I throw around some over/unders before picking the Big Ten slate and divulging who we believe will walk out of Madison with a big time victory.
We are giving away an Amazon Echo Dot and a $100 Amazon giftcard to two lucky fans of SpoCo Radio. All you have to do is subscribe to the iTunes BHGP Podcast feed RIGHT HERE and leave us a 5-star rating and leave us a review containing your favorite movie quote to describe the upcoming basketball season like we did on last weeks show.
I’m also asking for all of you that rightfully agree with me about sushi as comfort food to subscribe, drop a line in the reviews about your amazing food takes and why The People’s Champ is so unbelievably incorrect about this, screenshot them and send them directly to @ChiPeoplesChamp and make him feel like the moron that he is.
If you have any questions or concerns, hit us up on the Tweet Machine and we’ll be sure to clear anything up for you all. May the best Hawkeyes fans win!
