After clamoring to get that damn thing painted for literally decades, Iowa fans, coaches and players can finally look fondly up at the water tower from Kinnick or see it whenever football games are broadcast on TV.
It’s a point of pride. We finally got a tigerhawk logo on the field at Kinnick last year, and now we have our beloved logo on a GD water tower. It truly is great to be a Hawkeye.
