The weekend saw former Hawkeyes James Daniels, Josh Jackson and Josey Jewell get drafted by the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos, respectively. While guys like Akrum Wadley and Sean Welsh are likely disappointed for not getting their names called, they’re still gonna get a chance to make it in the league, though it may be a little tougher to stick to a team this way.
Signings
Akrum Wadley signed on with the Tennessee Titans.
Head to the sky! This won’t be the last time you heard of me. #Tennessee

Wadley will be competing Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry for carries. Henry and Wadley sounds like a pretty good thunder & lightning combo, no?
Sean Welsh is joining up with former Iowa lineman Brandon Scherff in Washington:
