Chris Doyle and Company have yet another project to work with as New Hampton’s Noah Fenske joins the Hawkeyes.

A 6-foot-5, 280 pound offensive lineman, the instate product could end up at any number of offensive line spots at Iowa. An accomplished track athlete as well (he finished third at state meet last season in the shot put) he is exactly the prototype player the Hawkeye coaching staff finds year after year.
Fenske is also on New Hampton’s basketball squad, so, again, the prototype — multiple sports, etc. As a three star recruit he didn’t go exactly underlooked, but with his only other high-level offers being at directional Dakota schools, it seems the Hawkeyes continue to look under every rock they find.
There’s certainly a precedent for players such as Noah finding playing time at Iowa.
