After a performance in New York that literally no one in the world besides maybe Fran McCaffery saw coming, the Iowa Hawkeyes are 4-0 and ranked No. 20 in the AP poll.

Oh baby! I don’t really know what to do here! This is the first time Iowa basketball has been ranked since Max and I took over The Pants. The last time Iowa basketball was ranked was at the end of the 2015-16 season rankings, where the Hawkeyes were No. 25.
Iowa is getting a lot of love from national media, too. Seth Davis spent basically half of a 3,000 word column on the Hawkeyes ($$) and Iowa is also ranked No. 22 in the USA Today poll.
Iowa has a chance to rise in the rankings, too. Our next two games come against very winnable opponents in Alabama State on Wednesday, Pitt next Tuesday then No. 25 Wisconsin at home on Nov. 30.
So let’s be mad again?
