Following a heartbreaking 30-24 loss to Penn State in Happy Valley, the Iowa Hawkeyes dropped just one spot in the AP rankings to No. 19.

Iowa’s being ranked is most likely a product of everyone sucking. No. 25 Appalachian State, No. 20 Wisconsin, No. 9 Florida, No. 21 South Florida, No. 15 Washington, No. 22 NC State, No. 24 Stanford, No. 16 Texas A&M, No. 6 Texas and No. 19 Oregon all lost this weekend. Florida, Iowa and Stanford were the only ranked programs to also lose to ranked opponents.

Penn State moved up three spots to No. 14 in the rankings, while Wisconsin dropped out. Despite having a bye, Ohio State moved up three spots to No. 8, while Michigan stayed at No. 5 while also on a bye.

Northwestern, Michigan State and Wisconsin also received votes.
