What: No. 3 Iowa vs. No. 7 Michigan
When: Saturday, Jan 27, 5 p.m. CT, Carver-Hawkeye Arena
Watch/Listen: BTN, 800 KXIC
More wrestling! After suffering its first loss of the season at the hands of top-ranked Ohio State Sunday, Iowa’s back on the mat this evening at 5 p.m. against No. 7 Michigan.
Michigan dropped from No. 5 to No. 7 in this week’s Trackwrestling rankings while Iowa went the opposite way from sixth to third. This dual should be more evenly-matched than Hawkeye-Wolverine matchups in years past, as Michigan sports six wrestlers in Track’s top-10, as does Iowa.
There’s a top-5 matchup at 157 with No. 2 Michael Kemerer and No. 5 Alec Pantaleo and assuming No. 3 Sam Stoll wrestles, another at heavyweight with No. 2 Adam Coon.
If you asked yourself, “Coon still his eligbility?” Yes, somehow he does.
Anyways, before we get to lineups, Jordan and I put together a State of the Union earlier this week, in which we offer weight-by-weight thoughts and some general sentiments on, well, the state of the program.

Should be a good one, let’s enjoy Saturday and have some fun in the comments.
