Henry Geil
Pos: RB
Hometown: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Ht: 6’
Wt: 211 lbs
Geil, who was held in check last week on Geil-adjusted-terms, was back at it this week in his first Friday night game of the season. Apparently, that was the change the Hawkeye commit needed, as he bounced back with 199 yards and 2 rushing TDs on 31 carries (31 carries!!) as Preble steamrolled De Pere 44-13.
Here’s a look at his week 4 highlights:
On the season, Geil now has 652 rushing yards on 108 carries for an average of 6 yards per carry. He also has 5 rushing TDs through 4 games. Preble is now 3-1 on the year. They will be at Sheboygan South this Friday.
Jack Plumb
Pos: TE/OT
Hometown: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Ht: 6’8”
Wt: 245 lbs
OL/TE commit Jack Plumb and the Bay Port Pirates had their closest game of the season Friday as they took down Ashwaubenon 48-21. Plumb caught his second touchdown pass of the year, this one coming from 5 yards out. Have a look:

Bay Port is now 4-0 on the season. They will play host to Pulaski this Friday.
Tyrone Tracy
Pos: ATH
Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana
Ht: 6’
Wt: 185 lbs
This kid continues to put up crazy numbers, both at RB and the WR spot for Decatur Central. Tracy finished with 14 carries for 101 rushing yards (7.2 ypc) and a TD. He added 105 receiving yards and 2 TDs on 5 catches (21 ypc) as Decatur Central beat Martinsville 54-15. That’s 206 total yards and 3 TDs on 19 touches. Really good stuff.
On the season, Tracy now has 516 rushing yards and 4 TDs on 53 carries. That’s good for 9.7 yards per carry. He also has 420 receiving yards and 5 TDs on 21 catches for an average of 20.0 yards per catch.
Decatur Central is now 3-1 on the year. They will be back in action Friday night at Mooresville.
DJ Johnson
Pos: DB
Hometown: Indianapolis, IN
Ht: 6’
Wt: 170 lbs
DJ Johnson had 3 tackles as North Central moved to 3-1 with a 21-7 victory over Lawrence Central Friday night. Johnson, however, sustained an ankle injury and missed the second half of this one. We’ll keep an eye his health as we progress toward North Central’s showdown with Center Grove Friday.
Julius Brents
Pos: DB
Hometown: Indianapolis, IN
Ht: 6’2
Wt: 180 lbs
Brents remained sidelined with an injury again this week. In his absence, Warren Central dropped to 2-2 on the season with a loss to Lawrence Central 35-26. We’ll continue to monitor Brents and update you if we learn anything new regarding his injury.
Anthony Torres
Pos: TE
Hometown: Mishawaka, Indiana
Ht: 6’6”
Wt: 235 lbs
Torres remains sidelined with an injury. His Penn team took down Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (from Michigan) Friday 31-17 to move to 3-1 on the year. Teammate and Iowa target Paul Moala had a 61-yard punt return for a TD. As with Johnson and Brents, we’ll continue to monitor Torres and update you if we learn anything new regarding his injury.
Terry Roberts
Pos: DB
Hometown: Erie, PA
Ht: 5’10”
Wt: 169 lbs
Cathedral Prep absolutely dominated McDowell Friday, winning 63-7. Roberts’ reputation apparently preceded him as McDowell didn’t attack him at all. With the blowout, he also didn’t get much run offensively recording no catches.
Cathedral is now 3-0 on the season. They’ll play host to Benedictine of Cleveland, Ohio this Friday.
Samson Evans
Pos: ATH
Hometown: Crystal Lake, IL
Ht: 6’1”
Wt: 190 lbs
Evans racked up 121 rushing yards and a rushing TD on 15 carries as Prairie Ridge rolled to 3-0 on the season with a 56-13 win over Crystal Lake Central. Evans also added a 21-yard touchdown pass.
On the season, Evans now has 483 rushing yards and 7 TDs on 69 carries for an average of 7 yards per carry. He has thrown for at least 142 yards (still looking for official passing stats from Friday). Prior to last week, Evans was 5-11 passing for a 45% completion percentage. He is viewed as a likely WR for the Hawkeyes.
Prairie Ridge is now 3-0 in their quest to repeat as state champions. This Friday they’ll be at Crystal Lake South.
Dillon Doyle
Pos: LB
Hometown: Iowa City, IA
Ht: 6’3”
Wt: 215 lbs
Linebacker commit Dillon Doyle had 11 tackles and a tackle for loss defensively for the Iowa City West Trojans last week. He added 2 catches for 31 yards on the offensive side of the ball as West beat Cedar Falls 32-31 in OT in the Dome after converting a 2-point conversion for the win.
