#Swarm19 continues to grow as Indianapolis-area defensive back Larry Tracy announced today his commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes.
It still feels unreal to be in this position all glory to all mighty God but i am committing to THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA #swarm19 pic.twitter.com/7ovJHnT7SF

Tracy is the fourth commit in the class of 19, and the first DB commit.
Tracy is a three-star recruit out of Decatur Central in Indianapolis. He and class of ‘18 RB/WR commit Tyrone Tracy are teammates and cousins, and it looks as though Iowa is certainly targeting Indianapolis for recruits at a greater emphasis than we’ve seen before.
At 5-11 and 175 going into his junior season, Tracy already has some good size for a defensive back.
As far as I can tell, he displays some really, really good closing speed for a corner to come up and make a tackle. He doesn’t shy away from contact and uses his long arms to his advantage when playing up for grabs with a receiver.
Iowa finds itself in a sticky situation with defensive back depth right now. There’s just one other DB commit in the class of ‘18, but it’s nice to see them thinking long-termish here.
New receivers coach Kelton Copeland appears to be on a bit of a warpath with recruiting. He secured Tyrone Tracy and has hit his nose to the grindstone after being on the job for just a few months.
Larry Tracy joins Ezra Miller, Logan Lee and Tyler Endres as the only current commits in #Swarm19.
Welcome aboard, Mr. Tracy.
