The NFL Draft wrapped up this afternoon with four Hawkeyes being selected to go to the pros. But NFL dreams don’t end there. It’s almost a certainty that we’ll see various Hawkeyes get selected to join the league as free agents. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we know more.
In case you weren’t watching TV or scrolling through Twitter from Thursday until now, here’s the list of Hawkeyes who were picked up:
3rd Round:
QB C.J. Beathard, San Francisco 49ers
4th Round:
DL Jaleel Johnson, Minnesota Vikings
5th Round:
TE George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
DB Desmond King, Los Angeles Chargers
