Shortly after Jordan Bohannon earned his second Big Ten freshman of the week honor, the Linn-Mar product was named the all-freshman team for the Big Ten conference alongside fellow frosh Tyler Cook.

Bohannon and Cook were given honors alongside Peter Jok this year, who was named first team all-B1G earlier in the day.

Bohannon was a revelation at point guard this year, and started every single game as a true freshman for the Hawkeyes. He posted an assist/turnover ratio of 2.1, tied for the seventh in the conference.
He’s also responsible for moments such as this:
WHAT A WIN FOR IOWA! THEY SCORE THE FINAL 7 IN MADISON INCLUDING THIS 3 FROM JORDAN BOHANNON! MUCH BETTER W/TITANIC MUSIC! (@IowaHoops) pic.twitter.com/K3peGffu05

Doesn’t get old.
Cook was a bit surprising to see since he missed quite a few games due to injury, but we’re not complaining!
He was an absolute force in the paint, averaging 12 points and 5 boards throughout the year, and was part of his fair share of moments as a Hawkeye as well.

We all know the future is sky-high for Iowa hoops with these youngsters playing under Fran McCaffery. We look forward to many more of those moments as Bohannon and Cook progress their careers in an Iowa uniform.
Now let’s get that win over Indiana!
