Peter Jok, the leading scorer in the Big Ten, was named first team all-conference for his performance over the course of this basketball season.
Jok averaged 20.2 points per outing this year, and also made 92 percent of his free-throws, good for first in the conference.
Also this is fun:
Peter Jok gives Iowa a first-team all-B1G pick four years in a row. It happened twice (Brunner 2006, Haluska 2007) over the previous 17 yrs.— Rick Brown (@ByRickBrown) March 6, 2017
People can lament Jok all they want, but he truly was a joy to watch this year. Let’s hope he has more than a handful of games left in an Iowa uniform.
