Hello, wrestling friends. We don’t have much reason to waste time here as No. 4 Iowa’s dual is more or less a glorified exhibition against unranked Edinboro, but, we’ll give you a bit on the dual after the next sentence. It’s at 6 p.m. Saturday behind a $20 paywall on FloPro, which must be frustrating for the casual wrestling fan out there, and is followable with the radio and internet information below.
- No. 4 Cory Clark may or may not wrestle (guesses. comments. now.) against a top-20-opponent in No. 18 Corbin Meyers. The Hawkeyes have wrestled the Fighting Scots exactly one time during Clark’s Hawkeye career, and guess what, Clark didn’t wrestle. Thomas Gilman made his varsity debut the last time Iowa was in Edinboro — he took a major decision as the Hawkeyes squeaked out a 22-19 victory. Fun times.
- No. 3 Brandon Sorensen and No. 3 Sammy Brooks (take a seat, weak-willed T.J. Dudley) both get ranked guys. As Kyle Long would say, let’s get these guys a “full Kylie Jenner lip kit and then some” before things get real.
Only reason I didn't take my pickup is because it's currently getting a full Kylie Jenner lip kit and then some - it's at the beauty spa

- No. 2 Michael Kemerer is headed home, sort of, to wrestle at 157. His opponent, Chase Delande, isn’t great with an 18-14 record, so Kemerer should be able to put on a nice show with some of his friends and family in the stands.
- Please correct me if I’m wrong, but the biggest appeal of an Iowa-Edinboro matchup is to introduce and make the sport accessible to new audiences, no? The fact this dual’s streamed on a not-so-cheap platform is counterintuitive, to say the least. Hopefully the entity of college wrestling figures things out. Media rant over.
- Speaking of Kyle Long tweets.

- Packer fans, leave ma alone and do things your way, or something.
