Iowa Football Recruiting: 3-star DE Levi Duwa Signs With Hawkeyes

The seventh ranked prospect out of Iowa has been committed since April.

Levi Duwa received his offer on April 23, 2016, which was a Saturday night. He accepted his offer on Sunday morning, April 24, 2016. It’s pretty safe to say that Duwa wanted nothing more than to get an offer to The University of Iowa, and once he got it, he took it. Now, he’s officially a Hawkeye, as he signed his National Letter of Intent today.

Duwa is a bit on the small side at 230 pounds, but you can assume that he kept a low weight so he could wrestle. It shouldn’t be a huge issue, as he’s likely stuck behind a logjam of guys at defensive end. He’s the second best defensive end in Iowa’s class, behind stud A.J. Epenesa.

The quick bio on Levi Duwa:

High School/Hometown: Mid-Prairie High School // Wellman, IA
Measurables: 6’3”, 230 lb.
247 Composite Ranking: 3-stars
Other Offers: Eastern Michigan, Minnesota
Commitment Article: Caring is Creepy, by RossWB

Duwa doesn’t have senior highlights, so here are junior highlights.
