Kallenberger was the third rated prospect in Iowa.

After committing to Iowa back in March of 2016, Mark Kallenberger is officially a Hawkeye after signing his National Letter of Intent today. Kallenberger chose the Hawkeyes over five other offers, including one from Nebraska and Iowa State.

While Kallenberger wasn’t as talked about as fellow offensive tackle signee Tristan Wirfs, there’s a whole ton to like about him. 247 Sports has him ranked as a four-star, while their composite ranking has him as the third best prospect in Iowa. He’s still a bit undersized at 250 pounds, but that should be no problem once he gets on campus.

The quick bio on Mark Kallenberger:

High School/Hometown: Bettendorf High School // Bettendorf, IA
Measurables: 6’6”, 250 lb.
247 Composite Ranking: 3-stars
Other Offers: Colorado State, Iowa State, Nebraska, Eastern Michigan, and Kansas State

Kallenberger doesn’t have a senior highlight video, but here is his junior highlight film.
