ANYWAY, I have good news! Purdue is BACK and my free money alert hasn’t stopped going off in regards to the Boilers. Don’t worry. We’ll get to them soon.

Iowa (-17.5) vs. Illinois

The game: Iowa doesn’t just want a win here, it NEEDS a convincing victory over a hapless Illinois team lest I get back to hate-Tweeting and making enemies in the wake of a perplexing loss a la last week’s debacle in East Lansing.

There’s really not much going for the Illini, and this is Iowa’s Homecoming. I’m not saying Iowa’s going to cover, but Iowa’s going to cover.

The over/under is 9 cans of Hamm’s for Ben.

Florida (-2.5, -145) vs. LSU

The game: Can someone tell me why this line is so close? It SCREAMS trap for Florida, but I mean LSU just lost to friggin’ Troy on its homecoming. Find your plums and take the moneyline here.

The over/under is 75,000 LSU fans calling for Ed Orgeron’s head on a spike by the third quarter of this game.

Purdue (-4.5, -185) vs. Minnesota

The game: Here it is, the apple of my gambling eye: Purdue. This particular matchup is extra special to my heart and wallet because it means I get to bet against Minnesota, which is just about my favorite pastime. I even think this line is a little disrespectful to the Boilers so they’re going to be playing with PASSSION. Purdue by a billion.

Utah (+4.5, +165) vs. Stanford

The game: I love a good Utah bet and it just wouldn’t be Benny’s Bets without a little #Pac12AfterDark. I’m not sold on Stanford, and the Utes are a nice little home underdog here with some decent #value.

The over/under is 51. I’d take the over!

Wisconsin (-11.5, -460) at Nebraska

The game: I know Wisconsin had its hiccups against Northwestern last week, but the Badgers turned it on as the game unfolded. I don’t think Nebraska has the wheels or the grease to keep it anywhere close against Wisconsin, and I envision this turning into a snoozer early.

The over/under is 2.5 interceptions for Tanner Lee. (This may or may not be a real prop.)
