Hello Jerry Mailbag: Perfect

Well that was a roller coaster ride of emotions... CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT KATE FINALLY TOLD OFF HER MURDERER OF A MOTHER LAST NIGHT?

Jussssssttttt kidding (kind of).

Obviously, Saturday’s loss to Michigan State wasn’t what I (or most of The Pants) was anticipating. There was a lot left on the field which is still hard to stomach as I write this early Wednesday morning. This, after all, is a Kirk Ferentz football team and Kirk Ferentz football teams are supposed to go into the locker room at the end of every game with clear eyes, full hearts, dead legs.

Thankfully, Illinois comes to town for Iowa’s Homecoming. It’s the perfect time to get the offense back on track while giving the defense a much needed break before a much needed bye week (isn’t it always?).

Speaking of perfect...
