Running back commit Henry Geil finished his regular season with a strong performance. He tallied 141 rushing yards and 2 TDs on 14 carries for an average of 10.1 YPC. He also added 50 receiving yards on a lone catch. Unfortunately for Geil, the effort came in a 49-21 loss to Bay Port and fellow Iowa commit Jack Plumb. Geil finishes the regular season with 1,411 rushing yards and 16 TDs on 204 carries. That’s an average of 6.9 yards per carry. The loss drops Preble to 6-3 in the regular season. Jack Plumb

Hometown: Green Bay, Wisconsin

Wt: 245 lbs
As mentioned above, Plumb and Bay Port came up victorious over Geil and Preble Friday. The win pushed Bay Port to a perfect 9-0 record to close out the regular season. Plumb finishes the season with just 2 catches for 15 yards, both for TDs. Reminder that he is projected as an OT at Iowa and is used almost exclusively as a blocker at Bay Port.

Tyrone Tracy

WR commit Tyrone Tracy had another spectacular game for Decatur Central on Friday. He finished with 133 rushing yards and a TD on just 7 carries. He added 180 receiving yards and 2 more TDs on 6 catches as Decatur Central closed out their regular season with a 41-16 win over Franklin Community. Here’s a look at Tracy’s highlights.
Tracy finishes the regular season with 952 rushing yards and 7 TDs on 97 carries (an average of 9.8 YPC) as well as 879 receiving yards and 12 TDs on 42 catches (20.9 YPC). Decatur Central finishes the regular season at 8-1. They’ll face off with a Plainfield team they previously defeated 63-28 this Friday in the first round of the Indiana Playoffs. DJ Johnson

Cornerback commit DJ Johnson had another solid performance, finishing with 3 tackles and a pass breakup last week. Unfortunately, it was in a losing effort as North Central dropped another one, this time 58-14 to Ben Davis.
Johnson finishes the regular season with 29 tackles, 2 interceptions and 6 pass breakups. The loss drops North Central to 3-6. They still have a spot in the sectionals of the Indiana Playoffs and will take on the same Pike team they previously lost to 45-28 this Friday. Here’s a look at the 6A playoff bracket.
Julius Brents

Wt: 180 lbs
Safety Julius Brents and Warren Central fared a little better. Brents had 2 tackles and a pass breakup as Warren Central took down River Rouge 24-17 on Friday. Brents, who only played 5 games due to a knee injury, finishes the regular season with 13 tackles and an interception.
Warren Central finishes the year 6-3. They will get a rematch with Lawrence North in the playoffs this Friday. Warren Central won the previous meeting 53-3. Once again, here’s a look at the full bracket.
Anthony Torres

Hometown: Mishawaka, Indiana
Ht: 6’6”
Wt: 235 lbs
Despite missing the entire season due to an undisclosed injury, tight end Anthony Torres’ Mishawaka Penn team rounded out a very good 8-1 regular season with a 48-7 win over Mishawaka last Friday. Penn will now have a rematch against Valpraiso, the only team to beat them on the season with a 12-7 win back in week one. The rematch will take place this Friday in the playoffs. Terry Roberts

Cornerback commit Terry Roberts had another solid performance for Cathedral Prep in Pennsylvania last week. He finished with 4 catches for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns in a winning effort as Cathedral Prep took down West Toronto Prep 50-7. Here’s a look at Roberts’ highlights.
On the season, Roberts now has 639 yards and 8 touchdown on 20 catches. On the defensive side of the ball, he has 6 tackles and a pair of interceptions. The win moves Cathedral Prep to 8-0 on the year. They will be at Fort LeBoeuf this Friday.
Samson Evans

Wt: 190 lbs
WR commit Samson Evans had another very good game last week, completing 3 or 8 passes for 101 yards in Prairie Ridge’s run-first offense. Evans added 88 yards rushing on 26 carries (3.4 YPC) and 4 rushing TDs.
Fellow Hawkeye commit Jeff Jenkins, who is an OL prospect, pitched in with 4.5 tackles and in interception on the defensive side of the ball as Prairie Ridge came away with a 30-16 win over Jacobs. here’s a look at the game recap.
On the year, Evans now has 977 yards rushing and 17 TDs. The win takes Prairie Ridge to 8-0 on the year. They will close out the regular season against Dundee-Crown this Friday.
Dillon Doyle

Ht: 6’3”
Wt: 215 lbs
Linebacker commit Dillon Doyle had a solid performance in the heart of the Iowa City West defense Friday. Doyle finished with 6 tackles, a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery as West took down Linn-Mar 42-7.
On the season, Doyle now has 45 tackles and 5.5 TFL on the defensive side of the ball. He also contributes on offense with 12 catches for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns. The win moves West to 8-0 heading into their regular season finale at Ottumwa this Friday.
