Another week, another Iowa Hawkeyes football game. This week, Iowa fans look to get the bad tastes out of their mouth after [GAME REDACTED] and get out to a hot start in Big Ten play. After all, the Hawkeyes have a Big Ten winning streak to uphold! The offensive line gets back a couple of players who had been injured in the previous game, which is sure to help keep C.J. Beathard upright against a team that struggles against the pass. Of course, Iowa will want to establish the running game, but if they can’t, good pass protection will go a long way in defeating the Scarlet Knights.
On the flip side of things, Rutgers will also look to extend their winning streak to three games against the Hawks. The key for them will be to get off to a better start than they have in previous games, as they’ve fallen behind early in their first three contests this season. The biggest question other than whether or not they can get out to a good start is whether they’ll get usable play out of their quarterback - Chris Laviano has been pretty bad so far this season, but if he can prove to be serviceable, the 3rd-ranked rushing attack in the Big Ten should also thrive against Iowa.
ANYWAY, this is what you came for:
