NCAA TOURNAMENT SWEET 16 FRIDAY OPEN GAMES

Four more spots in the Elite 8 are waiting.

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Time to see who fills the final four spots in the Elite 8.  Up first: Iowa State takes on Virginia in an intriguing match-up of very different tempos. The other early game is Notre Dame-Wisconsin, which is... a game that someone has to win. Unfortunately.

The evening games feature a match-up of quasi-Cinderellas (or the closest thing we have to a Cinderella remaining in this tournament) in #10 seed Syracuse and #11 seed Gonzaga. The final game of the night could be the best game of the night, with two high-powered offenses and fast-paced teams throwing down for the last spot in the Elite 8. Bring on the points!

All times CT.

6:10 PM: #1 Virginia vs #4 Iowa State (CBS)
6:27 PM: #6 Notre Dame vs #7 Wisconsin (TBS)

8:40 PM: #10 Syracuse vs #11 Gonzaga (CBS)
8:57 PM: #1 North Carolina vs #5 Indiana (TBS)

If you can't watch the game on TV, you can also stream all the games via the NCAA's March Madness Live service (more info here). NOTE: you do need to have a television provider to use March Madness Live.

The usual rules apply: no links to illegal online streams, no porn, no politics, no religion, no slurs, etc. Don't be a jerk.
