2016 NCAA Wrestling Tournament -- Session I

The NCAA Tournament gets underway this morning at 11 AM CT.  ESPNU will have footage from the first round, but every match will be available via WatchESPN.  I'll do my best to keep the mat assignments updated in the comments.

And here are Iowa's nine first round matches. They'll be favored to win 8 of them -- all but 165.  To mount a challenge for the national title, Iowa needs to do three things: keep wrestlers alive on the championship half of the bracket as long as possible, get as many bonus points as possible, and do damage in the consolation bracket when/if they get sent down there.  They can't do anything but that last point just yet -- they just need to avoid the consolation bracket as long as possible.  Hopefully Iowa can win all of these R1 matches (including the upset at 165) and pick up some bonus points along the way.
