IOWA VS ILLINOIS GAME THREAD

The Hawkeyes battle the Illini for a spot in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

It's Big Ten Tournament time! That's been a prelude to extreme sadness for Iowa over most of the last decade, but hopefully the Hawkeyes can buck that trend this year. They really, really should do so -- they're much better than Illinois. But that hasn't always mattered in the Big Ten Tournament for Iowa, either. So let's see some shots start falling and get a W.

The game is scheduled to tip off at approximately 1:30 PM CT, with TV coverage from BTN and online coverage from BTN Plus. (That start time is dependent on whenever the Michigan-Northwestern game before Iowa-Illinois finishes up, though. Iowa-Illinois will begin about 30 minutes after that game, whenever it ends.)
