Welcome back everyone. I missed you and I missed writing this and I missed glossing over lines and I missed getting double Butterburgers with all the money I won betting on teenagers and
You know what, pause. Take a deep breath. We’re adults. Let’s go about this with a level-head as we peruse the matchups this weekend.

Oh.
*places Dominos on speed dial*
Let’s do this.
San Diego State +4 vs. Houston
Oh baby. This is juicy for so many reasons. Reason no. 1: Tom Herman is gone, he’s not coaching this game and I imagine a litany of players are upset about his departure. This game is in Las Vegas, so the cynic in me expects a few (or more than a few) players to be out partying in the wee hours, exploiting a free trip to an adult playground.
Reason B: San Diego State is pretty good! Donnell Pumphrey is the best college football you have never heard of. One could make a strong argument that he deserves to be at the Heisman ceremony over Jabrill Peppers, among others. Pumphrey has over 2,000 rushing yards this year and he’s just over 100 yards short of breaking Ron Dayne’s career record of 6,397 rushing yards.
And that leads us to reason III: I told you to take this. Lube up.
Appalachian State +1.5 vs. Toledo
Fun fact: Appalachian State is undefeated when playing teams from Ohio in the Camellia Bowl. Don’t be dumb.
New Mexico -7.5 vs. UTSA
Look at that, New Mexico is playing in the ... New Mexico Bowl. You know where this game is being played? You guessed it.
In fact, the last four Bowl games the Lobos have played in has been the New Mexico Bowl. And it actually doesn’t have a great record in those games! 1-2! It’s not great.
HOWEVER, this Lobo team is actually decent! It beat Air Force and Wyoming and ... lost to Rutgers. Alright you know what we’re gonna take the points here let’s go Road Runners! Beep beep y’all!
Side note: in researching the UNM football wiki, I discovered that the Lobos hold the record for most eras in college football history.

Stunning, really.
And that’s it for games over the weekend, but we still have some morsels this week!
*looks at midweek schedule*
*vomits*
Actually let’s focus our energy on the Iowa basketball game against UNI!
Alright well there isn’t a line up yet that I can find so I’ll update this post when that happens. In the meantime, just take Central Michigan +13 over Tulsa. That game is on Wednesday or something. Whenever a spread in a Bowl Game is over 10 you can generally feel pretty good about taking the points. I think.
Happy Friday, fellow degens.
