So that sure was some week, huh? Iowa sweeps Iowa State in everything, and here we are holding a gun with more ammo than we know what do with aimed at our coworkers who went to Iowa State.
The best part of it all might be the fact we have the entire week to gloat since Iowa doesn’t take the court again until Saturday while wrestling has a week and change off as well.
And there’s even more good news! After undergoing surgery on his wrist on Nov. 29, Tyler Cook could be back on the court as soon as Dec. 20. An early Christmas present indeed.
In the other sport, Iowa football handed out its team awards during its ceremony Sunday, and wuddya know, C.J. Beathard, Josey Jewell, and LeShun Daniels all were named team MVPs.
No love for Desmond King, huh?
HA DO NOT MISS THIS TIME OF YEAR NOPE NOT ONE BIT
Good luck to all @uiowa students taking exams this week!— Iowa Volleyball (@IowaVolleyball) December 12, 2016
Best of luck to all our readers taking exams. Remember: C’s get degrees.
The Register released it’s all-state football team. We’ll get in to if any of those guys could be Hawkeyes in a recruiting roundup tomorrow.
Oh well this is interesting.
Haven’t we learned by now that having someone close to Saban ≠ Saban?
Elite play call here:
-Here’s a story on the culture change at Wisconsin after the departure of Bo Ryan. ($)
-I know there’s a few fans of the Grand Tour on here. Turns out its the most illegally-downloaded show of all time, and it’s only four episodes in!
-Prince’s closest friends share their favorite Prince stories. Micki Free confirms the mythical Prince basketball story from the Dave Chappelle skit.
-Oh Nazi’s were given meth during battle what a surprise.
Happy Monday y’all.
