Iowa leads Nebraska 20-3 after a nearly two-hour half of football, and this just might be the best the Hawkeyes have played all year.
All three of Iowa’s touchdowns came as a result of a long play. Akrum Wadley had a 75-yard touchdown run to put Iowa on the board first. Riley McCarron then added to the lead with a 77-yard catch and run on just a basic slant route. And then LeShun Daniels had himself a 56-yard run, followed up with four-yard scamper to get in the end zone.
In total, Iowa has 295 offensive yards compared to Nebraska’s 143. Nebraska has also had the ball for about three minutes longer than Iowa.
Let’s keep this going.
